Overview

Assists Director of Maintenance Operations with all village maintenance operations, repairs, special projects, administrative task, and communication.

Responsibilities

 

  1. Serve as a resources for maintenance technicians for related repairs.
  2. Assists with village special projects, inspections, repairs, capital improvements.
  3. Communicates, consults, and advises all village maintenance technicians and administrators as needed.
  4. Assists Director of Maintenance Operations in gathering location data for various projects.
  5. Research and report data collection for PMWorx software system.
  6. Communicates with contractors, vendors and suppliers when needed.
  7. Report to locations and provide maintenance services during recruitment of maintenance technicians, vacations, leaves, etc.
  8. Provides written reports such as, capital improvement progress, work load analysis, work order average completion time, scheduled preventative maintenance updates, etc.
  9. Maintain and input data into maintenance, inspection, and technology software programs as needed.
  10. Perform site visits and problem solve as needed.
  11. Attends and participates in all appropriate departmental/Village meetings, training and development opportunities.      
  12. Creates and maintains a positive atmosphere of customer service, including continuous quality improvement, teamwork, mutual respect, professionalism and accountability.

  14. Follows established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  15. Ensure Housing Quality Standards are followed in units and entire property (parking lots, community building, etc.).
  16. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill development.
  17. Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    • Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures.
    • Safety policies and procedures.
    • Federal, state and local regulations.
  18. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience:

Three to four years related experience in maintenance required.

Computer Skills

Ability to operate a computer and operate maintenance software.
