Overview

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the community, resident apartments chapels and common areas. Assist the manager to insure an efficient, productive and effective department.

Responsibilities

  1. Clean and maintain all common areas including, but not limited to corridors, lounges, chapel, reception areas, restrooms, storage and supply areas, floors, offices. Clean and maintain resident apartments as assigned and/or as vacated so that health standards are met by:
  2. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  3. Dust and polish furniture and
  4. Wash windows, blinds, walls, ceilings, woodwork, as necessary.
  5. Move and arrange
  6. Replenish bathroom Wash and disinfect using approved cleaning solutions.
  7. Wash and disinfect bathroom and kitchen fixtures/appliances using approved cleaning
  8. Sweep and mop
  9. Clean rugs and carpets using vacuum cleaners and
  10. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and
  11. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using
  12. Maintaining adequate levels/quantities of supplies by ordering inventory for
  13. Assists supervisor with recruitment and hiring, orientation and training, evaluations and corrective action/developmental
  14. Assists in developing and implementing programs to minimize costs and better utilize
  15. Assign duties to other staff and give instructions regarding work methods and
  16. VOR: May be a lead/assistant for Environmental Services (may include a combination of the environmental services areas).
  17. VEH: Create work schedules for assigned
  18. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to keep informed on current information and skill
  19. Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:Presbyterian Villages policies and Safety policies and Federal, state and local
  20. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

 

Experience:

Six months to one year related experience

 

Computer Skills:

Must have ability to operate a computer
