Overview

Receive, verify, and pay all bills and invoices for organization. Operate account payable software to record all vendor information, invoices, and payments.

Responsibilities

  1. Compute rates for services rendered to complete billing
  2. Review documents to compute fees or charges
  3. Prepare itemized monthly resident statements and record amounts due for services
  4. Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any
  5. Receive and record daily accounts receivable Report deposit to required persons.
  6. Receive payments and post amounts paid to customer accounts. Record ancillary charges to resident’s
  7. Collects, organizes and maintains appropriate documentation for private insurance
  8. Contact customers to obtain or relay account
  9. Answer resident or resident family inquiries regarding private, Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance
  10. Admits, discharges or transfers residents on census driven system
  11. Organizes and assists in the evaluation and collection of outstanding charges and delinquent accounts, keeping Village receivables at appropriate collection
  12. Consult sources such as websites, manuals, or insurance company representatives to determine specific charges or information such as rules, regulations, benefit coverage, or government

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

 

Experience: One year professional business office experience or equivalent combination of educational experience

 

Certificates & Licenses: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
