    Responsibilities

    Summary of responsibilities include providing exemplary personalized care that meets the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the residents.

     

    There are other important responsibilities, including but not limited to:

    • Making meaningful observations, documenting, and communicating to supervisor and family the status of the resident.
    • Answering and responding to resident calls in a timely manner
    • Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including serving meals in ways that meet the residents individual needs and desires, while being cognizant of changes in appetites and physical abilities to eat and drink
    • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with residents and their families
    • Responding to resident emergencies.
    • Administering medication consistent with Dr's orders.
    • Maintaining Service Excellence Core Values of listening, relationships, accountability and respect, when communicating with residents, staff, volunteers, leaders, vendors, and all associated with the organization.

     

     

    Qualifications

    If caring for others is your passion, and these responsibilities sound exciting to you, we need you on our team!  You must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalency, and you must be 18 years or older. No certification required.  Previous experience as a caregiver in a geriatric or memory care environment is plus.
