Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:
Recruits program participants, host sites and mentors for workforce development program.
Ensures that training objectives are met and program participants are placed at host sites.
Functions as the liaison between schools, students and host sites to create strong working
relationships with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Managing program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the
program and organization.
2. Developing new workforce development program to support the strategic direction of the
organization.
3. Recruits program participants, host sites and mentors for workforce development
program.
4. Functions as the liaison between schools, students and host sites to create strong
working relationships with all stakeholders.
5. Creating, managing, and ensuring that goals are met, including implementing and
approved changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
6. Ensures that training objectives are met and program participants are placed at host
sites.
7. Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
8. Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify and
implement areas for improvement.
9. Tracking grant outcomes and submitting grant reports.
10. Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding
project issues and decisions on services.
11. Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status, including analyzing program
risks.

Amount of Travel Required: up to 15%

12. Representing the program and organization on internal and external committees.
13. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in order to
keep informed on current information and skill development.
14. Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
o Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures.
o Safety policies and procedures.
o Federal, state and local regulations.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education –
Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
Experience - 3 year experience working with any of the following - minors, students, customer
service, workforce, student programs.
Computer SkillsEfficient Computer knowledge and use of Microsoft products, word processing, spreadsheets
database systems, and email.
