Overview

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain Presbyterian Villages and resident rooms/units and common areas.

Responsibilities

  1. Clean and maintain all common areas including, but not limited to corridors, lounges, reception areas, restrooms, storage and supply areas, floors, offices, and guest suites. 
  2. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  3. Wash windows, blinds, walls, ceilings, woodwork, etc. as necessary.
  4. Move and arrange furniture.
  5. Replenish bathroom items. Wash and disinfect using approve cleaning solutions.
  6. Wash and disinfect bathroom and kitchen fixtures/appliances using approved cleaning solutions.
  7. Sweep and mop floors.
  8. Clean rugs and carpets using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
  9. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  10. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides.
  11. Deep cleaning after move outs.
  12. Maintain adequate levels/quantities of supplies by reporting accurate inventory to manager/lead for replenishment.
  13. Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
    • Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures.
    • Safety policies and procedures.
    • Federal, state and local regulations.
  14. Clean residents apartments that are part of all-inclusice program 2x monthly.
  15. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education : High School Graduate, General Education Degree (GED) or currently enrolled in program if under 18.

 

Experience : No prior experience necessary

  • Sense of Smell

 

Work Environment

The employee will work inside, but will have regular exposure to fumes and airborne particles, occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, noise, etc. Care and alertness required when working with machinery, equipment and cleaning agents.
