The responsibilities of the Registered Clinical Dietitian is to create a nutrition plan to improve the health, and wellness of senior residents. Duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing a resident’s health status, goals, and dietary restrictions while maintaining progress and providing educational tools for staff and residents to implement. The Registered Dietitian continually studies emerging trends and stays current on new research related to the practice of dietetics, and educates the culinary staff on pertinent topics related to human nutrition and culinary service.
